This weekend; every time I got home...it was time to leave again. Every time I went to sleep, it was time to wake up again. Yet every time we smiled, we were happy.

I am tired

When the dog bites...
bright copper kettles and warm woolen mittens,
brown paper packages tied up with strings,
these are a few of my favorite things.
Cream colored ponies and crisp apple strudels,
door bells and sleigh bells and schnitzel with noodles.
Wild geese that fly with the moon on their wings.
these are a few of my favorite things.
Girls in a white dresses with a blue satin sashes,
snowflakes that stay on my nose and eyelashes,
silver white winters that melt into springs,
these are a few of my favorite things.
When the dog bites, when the bee stings,
when I'm feeling sad,
I simply remember my favorite things,
and then I don't feel so bad.
Raindrops on roses and whiskers on kittens,
bright copper kettles and warm woolen mittens,
brown paper packages tied up with strings,
these are a few of my favorite things.
Cream colored ponies and crisp apple strudels,
door bells and sleigh bells and schnitzel with noodles.
Wild geese that fly with the moon on their wings.
these are a few of my favorite things.
Girls in white dresses with blue satin sashes,
snowflakes that stay on my nose and eyelashes,
silver white winters that melt into springs,
these are a few of my favorite things.
When the dog bites, when the bee stings,
when I'm feeling sad,
I simply remember my favorite things,
and then I don't feel so bad.

Market Day
My brother participated in his first school market day yesterday.
I was his parental supervision
He did pretty well, made R158 profit. He was selling; soccer balls, vuvuzelas, bouncing balls, marbles, shocking bubble gum, slime and bubbles.
at the end he was just left with the bubbles.

Good Riddance!!
So I got my drivers license about a month ago, finally!!
This was kinda a 2 year mission and the ultimate bane of my existence. I actually can't even explain how traumatic this whole endeavour turned out to be, but it's over now!
I had planned to do a few things once I got my license. One thing I planned to do was, as I had collected all the documents from my failed attempts, burn all the documents and my expired learners. Not too sure if you're even allowed to do this, but it is done!
Stay posted for the other things I planned to do =)

Crocodile Farm
I felt my family should do something different this weekend and not get trapped at home exactly a week after losing Nala. So we went to the crocodile farm.
It wasn't the greatest farm ever, but the owners were really passionate about the animals, even if the owner had no index fingers, and a chunk of his left leg missing...
I also learnt that "Crocodile Farm" means that they actually farm crocodiles, for meat and skin.
So the crocs in the cages were the breeding animals, and the rest were for slaughter...I'm still not too sure about this concept, but we got to see the crocodile feeding, an alligator wear my sunglasses and crocodile curry (eeewww).
