A few months ago my Grandparents beautiful fox terrier, Holly, past away after 13 years.
So my Mom and I found them a new little Jack Russell puppy.
We got our own Jack Russell from this breeder and she is so beautiful and well natured.
They have 6 Jack Russells themselves and a Great Dane, my Mom wants another puppy...I personally want the Great Dane, Patches.
So, this is the little guy we chose for my Grandparents.

My heart may be broken, but I still love Bafana Bafana!
Last night we went down to the Fan Park at South Beach to support our soccer team.
We lost 3-0 to Uruguay...but only cos the ref was on drugs, I'm sure of it!
Anyways...I really love going to the fan park. The vibe is just amazing and the atmosphere was exploding with pride and love for South Africa!
I ♥ the world cup!

Germany vs Austalia - I was there!!
So at about 6pm Sarah phones me and asks casually if I am going to the fan park for the game, which I wasn't. So she says, "oh good, cos we're going to watch it at the stadium"...
I go from watching tv in my PJs to rushing down the NMR to meet up with Sarah's neighbours to get our tickets, which they ever so kindly gave to us, for free.
When we got inside the main area, we met up with Nich, Ziggy and Jack just to say hi.
They asked to see our tickets....we didn't know we had the really good seats...but we did when we got to them. 10 rows from the field, right near the terminal where they run onto the field...
It was an awesome evening, and I have Sarah and her family to thank!
I would not have gone to a single game if it weren't for them!!

Work
I've always been quite blessed when it comes to employment and am never short of a job.
Recently, a friend of mine asked if I would be interested in being a facilitator for a leadership training company called Edge training. It's been pretty fun, and I enjoy it. Also, I usually do this kind of thing for free, so it's cool to be paid for it, lol.
These are some of the fun activities that we did at Crawford La Lucia
So now, I have 3 jobs..and counting

I got this Kodak Instant Camera for R15 at the car boot sale.
I doubt it works, but I'll still get a battery for it and try anyways =P
When I opened it up, I saw that there are still two films inside.
I wonder who wanted to get rid of it so badly that they didn't even bother to take their last two photos?
(unless it broke, lol)

Holidays, So far
I have been absorbed into the time zone that is midyear vacation, filled with half price sushi, rooftop drinks, flea markets and Sunday morning scones.
This weekend has been particularly fun. Friday night we saw Desmond and the Tutus and headed back to Paz's house for Chandre's birthday. We had drinks on her roof, it has an amazing view.
Saturday I went with my Mom to St.Luke's fete. Got some owls (will show them in another post) and met up with Bex and we headed to I Heart Market to meet up with everyone else. We got free shiny rocks while eating the most amazing breakfast and then headed out to Essenwood flea market where we sat on the grass, got dragged by Timmy (Bex's Pooch) and ended up having ice cream on the beach. Bliss!!
To top off the day, we went to Shevie's for a braai and I went to bed feeling very tired.
I woke up bright and early today and went with to the Car Boot Sale. We met up with Lara-Jan there and the three of us battled the sea of people. If you live in Durban, you have to go to the boot sale at least once, it's so interesting. I got an old Kodak Colourbust instant camera, for R15.
Before we went home, Se and I HAD to go for scones at Botanic Gardens...most amazing scones ever!
So, that was my amazing weekend...♥

Happy Birthday Dad!
Today is my Dad's birthday, so we went to Ocean Basket for dinner...yum!!
In the occasion of birthdays, here are some of the entrants to the Cup Cake competition held this past weekend at the food market. These four were my favourite.
Cup Cake ♥!
