Ever since I got my DSLR, I knew that one day I would have a mantle piece, display cabinet or cupboard filled with cameras. So when I went on to my 7th camera, I went digging in our garage, and found this beautifil medicine cabinet and it's perfect!!!
I also went back to the Golden Hours Family Market on Sunday, and I found 2 more little pieces I Liked. (my mom also got a cool flash for me the week before

Swimming with my brother
My brother and I often enjoy swimming with our Golden Retriever
His name is Allistar (my mom chose the spelling)
He is our pride and joy, along with our Golden Labradour (Nala) and our Jack Russell (Puppy)

Pocket Watch Necklace
I've always wanted a pocket watch, but never really seen one that had caught my eye.
Trust me to find one at Mr Price, lol.

Afternoon Swim
On Friday I managed to get a lift home with Darren, so I could get some work done before Splashy.
I was home for no longer than 20mins when Bex calls, asking if I wanna ditch my work and hit the beach....so I did what any good student would...I said I'd be ready ASAP.
Sadly we couldn't get a car, so we went to Tyler's instead and had a lovely swim.
Not long after our swim Bex's mom called, we had a car and told Sarah to be ready and waiting...what a beautiful afternoon

Real Time vs. Lomo Time
When owning a Lomographic camera, you tend to forget what pictures you've taken.
So every time you develop a new spool, you are always suprised.
This occurrence has made me develop the concept of Real time, and Lomo time, as the pictures are recent, but the events are not =)
So, these are the latest pics in Lomo time

Vintage Cameras
Recently I have decided that I will be a camera collector because there is nothing better than a Vintage camera.
About a month ago my mom and myself went to a local flea market, and came across an old lady who is moving into a retirement home, as her husband has recently passed away. She was selling his camera equipment. I got everything in the below pictures for R160. And as she starts packing up her home, she will keep aside any more items she may find. Very exciting!
This is a Pentax ESII. It was released in 1973. The Lense came with the camera, but I think it is more than likely a Macro lense...because everything is super zoomed all the time. lol. It's a SLR 35mm and still works, quite nicely.
Both the cameras came in customized leather holders, and then a larger leather carry case. The second camera is a Yoigtlander Perkeo III/E. It's a 120mm fold out camera and quite beautiful. It still works, I just need to get film for it.
I also got a flash, it's quite old and made out of plastic and came with light filters. That little thing with the copper chord is a Horvex 3 light meter, still trying to figure out how to work it. hehe!
And those are my exciting finds for now. More to come, soon I hope!
