Old Pictures

So, these are my favourite slides so far;

My Uncle, the clownBank and a friend
First one is my uncle (the clown, who even has ginger hair), at his 6th birthday.
The second one is my Great Grandfather, Bank (in the hat) and his friend.
Apparently him and I are very similar. I never met him, but he was also fascinated with taking photographs and he also hated to be in the photographs.

My dad and uncle
This is my Dad and my Uncle. Dad is about 8, uncle is about 4. The funny thing is that I could recreate this picture because their sons are about this age now, and look exactly the same as they did.

My Gran at a weddingMy Dad and his hound
The first one is my Gran, a bride's maid.
The second one is my Dad and his pooch.

Bank at Stone Henge
This is Bank at Stone Henge, about 1962 or so.

Slides

This is my Slide projector that my Great Gran gave me. My Dad and I repaired it the other day, cos the plastic slides are pretty brittle, and one got jammed.

My ProjectorBack end

with the slide projector, I was given about 500 slides...some of my family, some of my Great Grandfather's travels.
So I have slides of New York in the 60's, London in the 70's...all sorts

The gang

And for those of you that don't know what a slide looks like:

Opposed to negatives(I'm taking these negatives to get developed later and see what's on them):

Sadness fills my heart

My mom and I found these really cool cameras (see here)

I finished the film the from the Pentax ES II other day (this camera was made in the 70s), and got it developed today
but I was unsure about what may be on the film, so I asked for the film to be scanned onto a cd instead of being printed
I am very glad for that choice, as out of 36 exposures, only one worked

Jason and Manda

and the rest sort looked like this

Kai
(that's Kai eating biscuits at a soccer match)
Sarah and rikki
(that's sarah and rikki on Rix's bday)
Soccer lights
(that's my brother playing soccer)

so yeah, didnt really work out.
maybe the next one will be better?

Real Time vs. Lomo Time

When owning a Lomographic camera, you tend to forget what pictures you've taken.
So every time you develop a new spool, you are always suprised.
This occurrence has made me develop the concept of Real time, and Lomo time, as the pictures are recent, but the events are not =)

So, these are the latest pics in Lomo time
